Fine Arts

Fine arts at Wilson Christian Academy include design and display art, instrumental and vocal music, and drama. Each aspect of fine arts provides the opportunity for training toward the young person’s specific ability or gift. Training is accented through performances such as art festivals, concerts, plays, programs and competition.

Our mandate is Colossians 3:23 & 24: “And whatsoever you do, do it heartily as to the Lord and not to men; Knowing that of the Lord you shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for you serve the Lord Christ.” The outworking of our mandate obligates WCA to provide each student the opportunity to experience, understand and participate in the arts. All interested in developing these artistic gifts are provided various venues for preparing for future ministry and vocations.

Specific areas of expression include Sonshine Singers, Jubilant Singers, Beginner & Advanced Art, Dramatic Production I – IV, Senior Speech, Beginners Band, Elementary Band, MS/HS Band, and the Bible-In-Motion Ministry Team.
