Fifth Grade Spotlight

What is a Biome? Ask any one of Mrs. Attoe's students and he or she will be able to tell you. Last week the students completed projects creating a representation of the various biomes. Each project started with a cardboard box and evolved into a living environment. See the pictures below to view the finished product.

Mrs. Attoe's fifth grade class enjoyed a field trip to Raleigh on Wednesday. During their trip they visited the Marbles kids museum, the museum of natural science along with a show about Hurricane Katrina at the IMAX theatre. These students enjoyed taking their learning beyond the classroom and seeing exhibits at both museums. They represented WCA well in their conduct and we're very proud of them.
