Honors Spanish

Every week our honors Spanish class learns through teaching. Each Friday, Mr. Deans and his students go into the first and second grade classes to teach elementary Spanish to the younger students. The Honors Spanish class teaches the younger students general nouns such as colors, animals, numbers as well as sings songs in Spanish.

Spanish 3 (Honors Spanish) has become one of the most respected elective classes on our high school level over the past few years. The students expand their basic knowledge of the language and culture by learning more conversational Spanish as well as written composition. Over the last 2 years, two of our Spanish 3 students have placed first in our state's academic testing competition.
