Geometry Class
Protractors do have another purpose other than being used as boomerangs. Using Geometer's Sketchpad technology and hands-on practice at the chalkboard, the Geometry students learned how to read and draw angles using their protractors. In the following weeks, they'll use their newly acquired knowledge in daily assignments. Each student will create a "Geometry Project" which will incorporate their protractors and compasses. These students have been waiting to get in the "spotlight" for awhile, so when they asked for a class picture at the end of the hour, we kindly obliged.
